BRUSSELS – The Global Sumud Parliamentary Congress convenes tomorrow in Brussels, bringing together prominent legal, political, and human rights voices shaping international responses to Gaza.
Confirmed participants include UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, UK MP Jeremy Corbyn, US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (online, TBC), MEP and former Spanish minister Irene Montero, MEP Manon Aubry, and Palestinian political leader Mustafa Barghouti, alongside UN experts, European and Global South parliamentarians, and international legal authorities.
The Congress is taking place alongside the advancing Global Sumud Flotilla, linking maritime civilian action with coordinated political and legal efforts on land.
